How Gartner Associates Made an Impact in 2023

Every year, Gartner associates show their generosity and support communities around the globe by volunteering their time, donating to organizations they are most passionate about, and doubling their donations with the Gartner Gives Charity Match.

For our Season of Giving this year, from October to December, projects ranged from food volunteering at local food banks, to organizing 5K charity runs, to donating toys to kids for the holidays.

Many of our associates have stepped up this year, and we could not be prouder. Since the Season of Giving began, we have been sent many photos and stories, sharing the events that took place and the positive impacts that theses contributions have made.

Kevin P., Regional VP

“We organized our second annual neighborhood Turkey Trot! We raised over $5K for Our Mother’s Home, which is a great local organization that helps to empower young mothers in the foster care and human trafficking systems to break the generational cycle for themselves and their children.”

Jessica M., Associate Experience Manager

“In the Fort Myers office, our associates participated in a Toys for Tots toy drive! We are happy to say that as a team, we donated over 250 toys and $1,400 in gift cards.”

The Toys for Tots initiative was a collective contribution throughout many of the Gartner offices; Fort Myers, Stamford, Arlington and Irving also generously contributed to the program and gifted a new toy or book to bring the joy of Christmas and send a message of hope to America’s disadvantaged children.

Jenny P., Manager, Client Success

“The Gartner Dallas IT End User team was lucky to spend an afternoon volunteering at North Texas Food Bank as part of a 75-person group quality checking, sorting and packaging canned goods from the Annual "Feed the Need" canned food drive put on at the Texas State Fair. Our group was able to properly package 14,537 pounds of food that will translate into roughly 12,114 meals for those in need!”

Kelsey S., Senior Administrator

“Over 25 associates on the Gartner team gathered in the Portland office over lunch to assemble 240 kits for a local day shelter, Rose Haven. These kits contained some of the most in-need items of the season for those experiencing homelessness, and many were distributed that same day at the annual Thanksgiving meal they host. Rose Haven's Development Director shared a presentation on how their organization helps serve women, children and gender nonconforming folks experiencing the trauma of abuse, gender-based violence, loss of home and other disruptive life challenges. One hundred percent of their funding is through community donations, mostly under $50, so efforts like this truly make a difference.”

Sapan S., Credit Manager

“India's Finance team conducted a social responsibility event for the underprivileged communities living in rural areas of Delhi and leading this activity and assisting the people, particularly women who are always busy supporting their families. It was amazing to see so many women participate in this initiative and make it a success. Being a member of the Gartner is a privilege, as it impacts social activities that benefit the community.”
